UAE’s Ministry of Education has announced the approved academic calendar for the next three academic years (from 2026 to 2029) for both public and private schools.
Dubai Holding and Nord Anglia Education, the leading international schools organisation, have announced plans to develop and operate state-of-the-art premium K-12 schools across Dubai. Indian teacher Rouble Nagi was awarded the $1 million GEMS Education Global Teacher Prize 2026 during the World Governments Summit in Dubai. Now in its 10th year, the Global Teacher Prize is an initiative of the Varkey Foundation organised in collaboration with UNESCO. It is considered the largest award of its kind in the world.
A multi-year initiative to strengthen AI literacy education across Dubai’s private schools was launched at the World Governments Summit 2026.
