The UAE’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in collaboration with global technology company SAP, has concluded an intensive training programme for 14 academic faculty members from six universities across the UAE, aimed at strengthening their readiness for artificial intelligence (AI) applications and transferring practical expertise into academic curricula. Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) will begin conducting quality assurance visits to private schools in the first term of the 2026-27 academic year, using a new flexible, data-driven methodology that takes into account each school’s stage of development and individual needs, with a focus on the impact of educational quality on students’ learning and daily experience. The visits may be conducted with just about 24 hours’ notice.
