India’s Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has further postponed the Class 10 and 12 board examinations scheduled for March 5 and March 6, 2026 in seven Middle East countries after a critical review of the prevailing situation in the region. New dates will be announced later, the board said in a statement.
The exams have been postponed in several Middle Eastern countries, including Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
The board said it would review the situation again on Thursday, March 5, and take a call on the remaining exams scheduled from March 7 onwards.
Students have been advised to stay in touch with their schools and also follow further official announcements carefully.
