Want to make a difference and contribute to the community while spending time with horses? The Al Marmoom Initiative is seeking volunteers to help out with supporting people of determination through riding, pitch in with managing the stables, and their greenhouse activities.
The Al Marmoom Initiative Community Equestrian Education Center in Dubai provides adaptive riding, stable management and driving classes for individuals with special needs, helping improve both body and mind with the guidance of their expert team.
The Initiative is seeking volunteers to assist in their operations right from supporting their classes, maintaining the stables and helping out in the greenhouse. Volunteers can choose to contribute one hour a week, monthly or help out at during their open days.
Who Can Volunteer?
The best part is you don’t need prior experience with horses, greenhouses, or working with individuals with special needs – just commitment to the work they do. However, you must be above 15 years old and complete one of their online training courses that cover essential topics like health and safety before joining the world of horses.
The Riding Classes for students
The riding classes by the Al Marmoom Initiative Community Equestrian Education Center adhere to the internationally recognized standards, syllabus, and best practices of the Riding for the Disabled UK (RDA) and the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.).
