    Abu Dhabi activates 24/7 mental health hotline

    Abu Dhabi’s Department of Health has activated a 24/7 mental health support hotline to provide a safe space to talk to qualified mental health professional in the wake of ongoing tensions in the region.

    The hotline 800-SAKINA (800-725462) is operated under SAKINA, a comprehensive mental health network under SEHA, a Pure Health subsidiary. SAKINA is dedicated to empowering individuals across the UAE to proactively manage their mental wellbeing, as per their website.

    Prioritising the wellbeing of residents, the Department of Health, in a statement posted on social media, said the hotline offers a safe and confidential space to talk, offering psychological first aid and direct access to qualified mental health professionals.
